Biography
Vicky has worked within the higher, further, and commercial education sectors providing learning solutions that focus on applying knowledge and skills in the workplace. She is adept at communicating complex ideas from multiple fields of study in mathematics, statistics, computer science, software development, data science, AI and governance.
Her expertise spans mathematics, including dynamical systems analysis, statistics, programming paradigms, data systems and software platforms and is passionate about learning. Vicky has a proven record of developing and leading strong expert teams, consistently delivering outstanding teaching and learning, curriculum design, and AI course authoring. She has led the creation, delivery, and quality improvement of multiple data and AI apprenticeships, undergraduate and graduate programmes, and reskilling bootcamps.
Having achieved significant success in training and supporting staff on work-based projects, she joined QA in 2022 with the aim of scaling the impact that she and her teams can achieve. She has observed some of the most positive impacts on individual staff and organisations when they combine their strong domain knowledge with new insights facilitated by her teams. As a result, Vicky is passionate about communicating and supporting the application of complex ideas within a business context.
She has witnessed first-hand the positive impact that even simple AI models can have for individuals and organisations. Vicky believes that through a safety-first approach to AI, we and our partners can achieve positive change and build deserving trust.
